Choosing an armchair
An armchair is where you sit most, so comfort comes first: a seat height of 42–47cm and a seat depth of 50–55cm suit most people, and a higher back supports the head if you read or nap. Then match the style to the room — an occasional chair (lighter, often armless or with slim arms) adds a colour accent, while a full armchair is a place to sink into.

Occasional chairs like the Eclipse and Crescent in burnt orange, mink and blue add a statement to a neutral sofa; the Apex, Rachel and Phoebe are fuller armchairs in weave and velvet. Pair with a footstool and a lamp table, or match your sofa or recliner.
Fabric care
Vacuum weekly, blot spills promptly, and rotate cushions. Velvet benefits from brushing the pile in one direction; weave fabrics can be spot-cleaned with mild soap.
