What's in the Gold Dining Table Collection?
This collection gathers every GalaxiMart dining table and set with a brushed or polished gold-finish base: cream and gold marble tables, black and gold sets, gold-leg velvet chairs, and matching coffee and console tables. Gold is our most-requested base finish because it warms up white, cream and grey stone tops and works with both classic and modern interiors.
Choosing a gold dining set
- Cream & gold — the signature look: a cream or white marble-effect top on a gold base with cream or mink velvet chairs. Soft and luxurious.
- Black & gold — high contrast and dramatic; see black & gold dining tables.
- Grey & gold — a calmer, contemporary pairing that suits grey-toned rooms.

Sizes and seating
Gold sets are stocked from 1.2m tables for four up to 2m tables for eight to ten. Allow 60cm of table edge per person and 90cm of clearance behind each chair; compare sizes in the 1.5m, 1.8m and 2m collections.
Caring for a gold-finish base
The gold finish is a coated stainless steel. Dust with a dry microfibre cloth and wipe marks with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid abrasive pads, bleach and acidic cleaners, which can dull the coating. Felt pads under the base protect hard floors.
Caring for a marble or stone dining table
Care depends on what the top is made of, so check the product page first.
- Natural marble is porous. Wipe spills straight away (wine, citrus and coffee can etch it), clean with a pH-neutral cleaner and a soft cloth, use placemats and coasters, and re-seal once or twice a year.
- Sintered stone and ceramic tops are non-porous, heat- and scratch-resistant, and need only a damp cloth. No sealing required.
- Never drag a table across the floor — lift it, and keep heavy items off the overhang.
