What is a lamp table?
A lamp table (or side table) is a small table beside a sofa, armchair or bed — 45–60cm high, level with the arm of the sofa, and just large enough for a lamp, a drink and a book. Ours are marble and marble-effect ceramic on gold, chrome and black bases, matching the coffee tables and console tables in the same designs.
Choosing
Match the height to your sofa arm (most are 55–65cm), and the finish to the coffee table. Round lamp tables suit tight corners; square ones give more surface. For a bedside alternative, see bedside cabinets.
Care
Wipe with a damp cloth and use coasters; re-seal natural marble once or twice a year.
