What does the 5-year guarantee actually cover?
GalaxiMart will repair or replace any part of a product that develops a fault due to defective materials within 5 years of purchase, at no charge, even if the manufacturer's own guarantee has expired. It applies to dining furniture, sofas, occasional furniture and home accessories, for the original purchaser only, on products delivered within Great Britain.
What isn't covered by the guarantee?
The guarantee excludes damage from misuse, accidental damage, incorrect assembly or storage (e.g. damp rooms or direct sunlight), wood cracking from humidity or heat sources like radiators, normal wear and tear, dye transfer from non-colourfast fabrics, and any item that's been altered or repaired by someone other than GalaxiMart. Clearance and ex-display items are also excluded from the 5-year guarantee, though manufacturer warranties may still apply.
How do I make a warranty claim?
