Choosing a lamp
Table lamps light a bedside or lamp table and should sit with the bottom of the shade at about eye level when seated — a 50–70cm lamp on a 55–65cm table. Floor lamps (150–160cm) light a reading chair or a dark corner. Our range includes mosaic and regency-style table lamps, twist-stem glass lamps and metal floor lamps with linen shades.
Bulbs and mood
Use warm white (2700K) bulbs in living rooms and bedrooms; a dimmable bulb makes one lamp work for reading and for evenings. Shades in linen diffuse light softly; metallic-lined shades throw it downwards.
Where to put them
See lamp tables and bedside cabinets for the tables to stand them on, and console tables for hallway lighting.
