Who a 2m dining table suits
Our 2 metre (200cm) dining sets seat eight to ten and are made for large dining rooms and anyone who hosts. A 200cm table seats eight comfortably and ten at a squeeze, and needs roughly 3.8m x 2.7m of floor space including chair clearance. Many of our 2m tables come as 1.8m/2m options, so you can choose the size on the product page.
Will it fit? A quick sizing check
As a rule of thumb, allow 60cm of table edge per person and 90cm of clearance behind each chair so people can sit down and walk past. Measure the room, subtract 180cm from each dimension for chair clearance, and what is left is the largest table that will work. If the room is tighter, look at our 1.8m dining sets.

Every 2m set pairs a marble, ceramic or sintered stone top with a gold, chrome or black base and our velvet or PU-leather chairs, and most product pages let you choose the chair colour.

Caring for a marble or stone table top
Care depends on what the top is made of, so check the product page first.
- Natural marble is porous. Wipe spills straight away (wine, citrus and coffee can etch it), clean with a pH-neutral cleaner and a soft cloth, use placemats and coasters, and re-seal once or twice a year.
- Sintered stone and ceramic tops are non-porous, heat- and scratch-resistant, and need only a damp cloth. No sealing required.
- Never drag a table across the floor — lift it — and keep heavy items off the overhang.
