Every base and headboard is built on a 30mm solid timber frame. A thicker frame resists flexing under load, and it is flexing that leads to sagging slats, creaking joints and a base that works itself out of square. Lighter-weight divan bases are often built on board around half this thickness.

Heavy-weight velvets, chenilles and linens, all UKFR-certified. Tightly woven so they resist pilling, hold their colour and don't thin at the corners where the bed takes daily contact.
