The Leon Grey Electric Recliner Sofa is the mid grey version of the Leon range, available here as 3 Seater, 2 Seater and Armchair.
How the Leon is built
The Leon is a powered recliner, so the seats are driven by a motor rather than a lever. A button on the outer edge of each seat runs the backrest and footrest out together and stops wherever you let go, which means you can hold a shallow angle for reading as easily as a flat one for sleeping. There is no handle to reach for and no sudden spring release.
On the 3 seater the middle seat is not a seat at all. It folds down into a padded centre console with two cupholders set into the top, so the sofa works as a two-seat recliner with an armrest and drinks table between the two reclining positions. Fold it back up and you have the third seat again.
Both USB-A and USB-C charging ports are built into the frame, so a phone and a laptop can run from the sofa without an adapter. The back is tall at 110cm and divided into a separate headrest band above a stitched back panel, giving proper support behind the head rather than stopping at the shoulders — the reason a recliner of this height suits taller people.
The upholstery is a grey tech fabric: a suede-look weave that resists marking better than a smooth leather-look finish and stays warm to the touch in a cold room.
Styling the Grey Leon
Mid grey is the easiest colour to build a room around. It takes mustard, rust and forest green cushions without a fight, sits comfortably against both white and greige walls, and will not date the way a strong colour does. If you rent, or expect to redecorate within a few years, this is the version to buy.

Before you order, please measure. Check the width and height of doorways, hallways, stairwells and any tight turns on the route to the room. Most of our sofas arrive in sections or with removable feet, but corner and U-shape units are large single pieces — the dimensions for each part are listed under Dimensions below.
Full dimensions for this model are listed in the description above. Measurements are taken at the widest and deepest points including arms and cushions, and may vary by up to 2cm as every frame is finished by hand.
Assembly is minimal — typically the feet screw on by hand and corner or modular sections clip together. No tools are needed for most models. Recliner and electric models are supplied ready to use; simply connect the supplied transformer to a standard socket.
Velvet
Brush the pile gently in one direction and vacuum on a low upholstery setting every couple of weeks. Blot spills immediately with a clean dry cloth — never rub, as this crushes the pile. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading.
Bouclé & Chenille
Vacuum with an upholstery brush, never a beater bar, which can pull the loops. Snagged loops should be trimmed level with scissors, not pulled. Blot spills with a barely damp cloth and allow to air dry.
Genuine Leather
Dust weekly with a dry microfibre cloth and condition every 6–12 months with a quality leather cream to keep the hide supple. Keep at least 30cm from radiators and direct heat sources, which dry and crack the surface.
PU & Faux Leather
Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid solvents, bleach, alcohol wipes and abrasive cleaners. Keep away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight.
All fabrics
Rotate and plump loose seat and back cushions weekly so they wear evenly. Foam and fibre fillings settle by up to 10% in the first few months — this is normal and not a fault.
Every sofa carries a 5-year guarantee on the frame and a 1-year guarantee on the mechanism, springs and electrics against manufacturing faults.
