Why choose a dining bench?
A bench seats more people in less space than chairs — three adults or four children on a 150–180cm bench — and tucks fully under the table when not in use, which keeps a kitchen-diner clear. Most families use one bench on the wall side and chairs on the other.
What's in the collection
Majestic velvet benches in black, mink, navy and silver, sold on their own or with four matching lion-knocker chairs, plus complete Arianna sets with a bench included. The benches match our velvet dining chairs in colour and leg finish.
Sizing
Choose a bench 30–40cm shorter than the table so people can get in and out at the ends; a 150–160cm table takes a 120cm bench, a 180cm table a 140–150cm bench. Bench seat height is 45–47cm to suit a 75cm table. See table sizes in our 1.6m, 1.8m and 2m collections.
