How the Ascot is built
The Ascot has a boxy, low-slung modern shape with wide padded arms that flare slightly outwards, and split back cushions topped with a raised pad that sits behind the shoulders. The seat cushions are individually filled rather than one continuous bench, so they can be turned and plumped to even out wear. The whole frame sits on short dark feet that lift it just clear of the floor, which makes vacuuming underneath straightforward.
The fabric is a textured woven chenille-style upholstery — a tight, slightly nubby weave rather than a flat cotton. It is the finish that gives the Ascot its depth of colour, and it is more forgiving of light scuffing than a smooth fabric.

Will it fit through my door? The 3 seater is 200cm wide and 87cm deep, the 2 seater 155cm wide. The back cushions lift off, which reduces the height you need to manoeuvre. Are the seat cushions removable? Yes. Both the seat and back cushions lift out, so they can be rotated to spread wear evenly.
