The Mirabel Mocha Large Corner Sofa is the warm mocha brown version of the Mirabel range, available here as Large Corner and Footstool.
How the Mirabel is built
The Mirabel is a corner sofa first and foremost — there is no straight two- or three-seater in the range. The Large Corner is the symmetrical one: both arms run to 310cm, so it drops into a square corner without a long side and a short side, and it needs no left- or right-hand decision at the point of ordering.
Seat depth is the point of it. At 105cm front to back the Mirabel is deeper than a conventional sofa, and the seat sits low at 45cm from the floor with a 52cm back rest above it. The proportions are built for lying across rather than sitting upright, which is why every piece ships with a set of oversized scatter cushions — they are structural here, letting you prop yourself upright when you want to sit rather than sprawl.
The seat cushions are removable and reversible, so the surfaces that take the most traffic can be rotated and the covers taken off. The upholstery is a short-pile velvet that shades lighter or darker as the nap is brushed one way or the other — the effect most people are buying velvet for, and the reason a corner sofa in it reads as one continuous surface rather than a row of separate cushions.
A matching footstool is available in both colours. At 78cm square it doubles as the missing section if you want to close the open end of the L into a U.
Styling the Mocha Mirabel
Mocha is the current alternative to grey — warm, deep and far more forgiving of marks than a pale neutral. It sits naturally with cream walls, oak floors and brass or antique fittings.

How do I clean it? Brush the pile in one direction with a soft upholstery brush to keep the shading even, and vacuum on low suction so the nap is not pulled. Blot spills immediately with a dry cloth rather than rubbing, which permanently crushes velvet pile. Keep it out of direct sunlight, which fades the colour unevenly, and never use bleach-based cleaners.

Before you order, please measure. Check the width and height of doorways, hallways, stairwells and any tight turns on the route to the room. Most of our sofas arrive in sections or with removable feet, but corner and U-shape units are large single pieces — the dimensions for each part are listed under Dimensions below.
Full dimensions for this model are listed in the description above. Measurements are taken at the widest and deepest points including arms and cushions, and may vary by up to 2cm as every frame is finished by hand.
Assembly is minimal — typically the feet screw on by hand and corner or modular sections clip together. No tools are needed for most models. Recliner and electric models are supplied ready to use; simply connect the supplied transformer to a standard socket.
Velvet
Brush the pile gently in one direction and vacuum on a low upholstery setting every couple of weeks. Blot spills immediately with a clean dry cloth — never rub, as this crushes the pile. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading.
Bouclé & Chenille
Vacuum with an upholstery brush, never a beater bar, which can pull the loops. Snagged loops should be trimmed level with scissors, not pulled. Blot spills with a barely damp cloth and allow to air dry.
Genuine Leather
Dust weekly with a dry microfibre cloth and condition every 6–12 months with a quality leather cream to keep the hide supple. Keep at least 30cm from radiators and direct heat sources, which dry and crack the surface.
PU & Faux Leather
Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid solvents, bleach, alcohol wipes and abrasive cleaners. Keep away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight.
All fabrics
Rotate and plump loose seat and back cushions weekly so they wear evenly. Foam and fibre fillings settle by up to 10% in the first few months — this is normal and not a fault.
Every sofa carries a 5-year guarantee on the frame and a 1-year guarantee on the mechanism, springs and electrics against manufacturing faults.
