The Selby Grey Corner Sofabed is a soft-chenille corner sofa that hides two everyday problems inside one piece: nowhere to put the spare bedding, and nowhere to put the spare bed. Choose Left Hand Facing or Right Hand Facing above — the return has to sit the correct way for your room, and the handing cannot be swapped after delivery.
How the Selby is built
The chaise lifts on gas struts to reveal a full-depth storage box underneath — deep enough for a duvet, spare pillows and a couple of throws — and the main seat pulls out to make a double sofabed for overnight guests. The headrests hinge forward so you can watch television without stacking cushions, and slim brushed metal accents wrap the outside of each arm as a design detail rather than a hidden fixing.
The upholstery is a soft chenille weave, chosen because the pile shrugs off marks better than a flat linen without looking as heavy as a jumbo cord. The seat cushions are foam filled and the frame is solid timber.
Overall footprint is 268 cm along the back with a 176 cm return — a full-sized corner rather than a compact one, so measure your room before you commit. The chaise sits on whichever side you pick above.

What is the difference between Left Hand and Right Hand Facing? Stand in front of the sofa and look at it. If the chaise runs off to the left, it is Left Hand Facing. If it runs off to the right, it is Right Hand Facing. Pick the option above that fits your room — the handing is fixed at manufacture and cannot be reversed after delivery.
How big is the pullout bed? Roughly a small double — enough for two adults for the weekend, not a nightly bed replacement.

Before you order, please measure. Check the width and height of doorways, hallways, stairwells and any tight turns on the route to the room. Most of our sofas arrive in sections or with removable feet, but corner and U-shape units are large single pieces — the dimensions for each part are listed under Dimensions below.
Full dimensions for this model are listed in the description above. Measurements are taken at the widest and deepest points including arms and cushions, and may vary by up to 2cm as every frame is finished by hand.
Assembly is minimal — typically the feet screw on by hand and corner or modular sections clip together. No tools are needed for most models. Recliner and electric models are supplied ready to use; simply connect the supplied transformer to a standard socket.
Velvet
Brush the pile gently in one direction and vacuum on a low upholstery setting every couple of weeks. Blot spills immediately with a clean dry cloth — never rub, as this crushes the pile. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading.
Bouclé & Chenille
Vacuum with an upholstery brush, never a beater bar, which can pull the loops. Snagged loops should be trimmed level with scissors, not pulled. Blot spills with a barely damp cloth and allow to air dry.
Genuine Leather
Dust weekly with a dry microfibre cloth and condition every 6–12 months with a quality leather cream to keep the hide supple. Keep at least 30cm from radiators and direct heat sources, which dry and crack the surface.
PU & Faux Leather
Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid solvents, bleach, alcohol wipes and abrasive cleaners. Keep away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight.
All fabrics
Rotate and plump loose seat and back cushions weekly so they wear evenly. Foam and fibre fillings settle by up to 10% in the first few months — this is normal and not a fault.
Every sofa carries a 5-year guarantee on the frame and a 1-year guarantee on the mechanism, springs and electrics against manufacturing faults.
