The Summer Beige Fabric Armchair is the single-seat version of the Summer range, finished in the same warm beige upholstery as the Summer sofas and measuring W114cm x D85cm x H85cm.
How the Summer armchair is built
The Summer armchair is a wide single seat — 114cm across against the 85cm or so a conventional armchair takes. That extra width is what lets you sit sideways with your legs over one arm, which is how most people actually use an armchair in the evening.
At 85cm deep and 85cm tall it is low and square rather than high-backed, so it reads as part of the seating rather than as a formal chair standing apart from the sofa. In a smaller room a pair of them works where a two seater would block the walkway.
The upholstery is a soft woven fabric in a warm beige that sits under almost any accent colour, and the seat cushion lifts out so it can be turned and plumped.

How do I clean it? Vacuum weekly with an upholstery attachment on low suction. Blot spills straight away with a clean dry cloth rather than rubbing. Turn and plump the seat cushion regularly so wear spreads evenly, and keep it out of direct sunlight to stop the beige fading unevenly.

Before you order, please measure. Check the width and height of doorways, hallways, stairwells and any tight turns on the route to the room. Most of our sofas arrive in sections or with removable feet, but corner and U-shape units are large single pieces — the dimensions for each part are listed under Dimensions below.

Assembly is minimal — typically the feet screw on by hand and corner or modular sections clip together. No tools are needed for most models. Recliner and electric models are supplied ready to use; simply connect the supplied transformer to a standard socket.
Velvet
Brush the pile gently in one direction and vacuum on a low upholstery setting every couple of weeks. Blot spills immediately with a clean dry cloth — never rub, as this crushes the pile. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading.
Bouclé & Chenille
Vacuum with an upholstery brush, never a beater bar, which can pull the loops. Snagged loops should be trimmed level with scissors, not pulled. Blot spills with a barely damp cloth and allow to air dry.
Genuine Leather
Dust weekly with a dry microfibre cloth and condition every 6–12 months with a quality leather cream to keep the hide supple. Keep at least 30cm from radiators and direct heat sources, which dry and crack the surface.
PU & Faux Leather
Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid solvents, bleach, alcohol wipes and abrasive cleaners. Keep away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight.
All fabrics
Rotate and plump loose seat and back cushions weekly so they wear evenly. Foam and fibre fillings settle by up to 10% in the first few months — this is normal and not a fault.
Every sofa carries a 5-year guarantee on the frame and a 1-year guarantee on the mechanism, springs and electrics against manufacturing faults.
