Why choose a walnut dining set?
Walnut brings warmth that all-stone dining rooms can lack. In this collection walnut appears as the table top itself, as a walnut frame under a travertine, ceramic or sintered stone top (Ginevra, Isabella, Ronda), and as walnut-legged chairs such as the Clara, Fern and Zara that pair with beige and Pandora stone tables. Many of these tables extend from 160cm to 240–260cm.
Mixing wood and stone

Sizes
As a rule of thumb, allow 60cm of table edge per person and 90cm of clearance behind each chair so people can sit down and walk past. Extending walnut tables let you keep a 160cm footprint every day and open up for ten at Christmas.
Caring for walnut
Dust with a soft cloth, wipe with a barely damp cloth and oil or wax solid walnut once or twice a year. Use coasters, avoid direct sunlight (walnut lightens over time) and keep the table away from radiators.

Caring for a marble or stone table top
Care depends on what the top is made of, so check the product page first.
- Natural marble is porous. Wipe spills straight away (wine, citrus and coffee can etch it), clean with a pH-neutral cleaner and a soft cloth, use placemats and coasters, and re-seal once or twice a year.
- Sintered stone and ceramic tops are non-porous, heat- and scratch-resistant, and need only a damp cloth. No sealing required.
- Never drag a table across the floor — lift it — and keep heavy items off the overhang.
