Measure before you buy
Check the sofa's width and depth against your room, then check the route in: door widths, hallway turns and stair landings. Most of our sofas arrive with legs detached and many corner sofas come in sections, which helps with access. Leave 45cm between the sofa and a coffee table.
Fabrics
Velvet gives a rich colour and a soft hand; chenille and textured weaves hide wear; faux leather and PU wipe clean. Darker colours and patterns are most forgiving with children and pets. Order fabric samples where offered, and view colours in daylight.
Care
Vacuum weekly, rotate and plump cushions, and blot spills immediately. Keep sofas out of strong direct sunlight to prevent fading. Fabric protector sprays help on lighter velvets.
