What is a marble dining set?
A marble dining set is a table with a natural marble, marble-effect ceramic or sintered stone top, sold together with matching chairs. It is the centrepiece of the GalaxiMart range: we stock more than 1,000 combinations, from compact 1.1m round sets for four to 2m sets that seat eight to ten, all with free UK delivery.
Which size do you need?
Allow around 60cm of table edge per person and at least 90cm of clearance behind each chair so people can sit down and walk past.
- 4 seats: 1.1m round, 1.2m or square sets suit kitchen-diners and apartments.
- 4–6 seats: 1.3m round, 1.4m and 1.5m sets are the most popular sizes for family dining rooms.
- 6–8 seats: 1.6m and 1.8m tables give everyone elbow room.
- 8–10 seats or flexible hosting: choose a 2m set or an extendable dining table.
Natural marble, ceramic or sintered stone?
- Natural marble has one-of-a-kind veining and a cool, polished feel, but it is porous and needs sealing.
- Ceramic and sintered stone copy the look of marble on a dense, non-porous surface that resists heat, stains and scratches — the practical choice for busy family homes. See our ceramic & sintered stone tables.
Browse by top colour: white, cream, grey, black, beige and black & gold.
Our signature table designs
Each design is available in several sizes and chair colours: Louis (classic rectangular with a sculpted base), Arianna (bold modern lines), Ariel (sleek and minimal), Elina (elegant everyday), plus round, gold-accent and walnut ranges.
Choosing chairs
Most sets pair with our velvet dining chairs in cream and mink, light grey, dark grey, black, blue or pink, with gold or black legs. Prefer wipe-clean seating? Look at sets with PU-leather chairs. You can also buy tables only and choose chairs separately.
Caring for a marble or stone dining table
Care depends on what the top is made of, so check the product page first.
- Natural marble is porous. Wipe spills straight away (wine, citrus and coffee can etch it), clean with a pH-neutral cleaner and a soft cloth, use placemats and coasters, and re-seal once or twice a year.
- Sintered stone and ceramic tops are non-porous, heat- and scratch-resistant, and need only a damp cloth. No sealing required.
- Never drag a table across the floor — lift it, and keep heavy items off the overhang.
Delivery and returns
Every dining set includes free UK delivery; the estimated dispatch time is shown on each product page. Our delivery and refund policies explain what to expect, and our Manchester-based team is on hand if you need help choosing.
